In this Vinyasa Yoga class we'll focus on the 3 Gluteal muscles that are located on our bottoms and the 3 Hamstrings that are located at the back of the thigh.
Most of us tend to have very weak Glute muscles. These muscles are important as they form a large part of the Hip and Pelvic area so they impact the stability of this area.
On top of this, most of us tend to have tight Hamstrings, which also impacts Pelvic and Hip stability.
Both weak Glutes and tight Hamstrings can cause many issues, including lower back issues
This active class will end with some gentle stretches and a relaxing Yin pose to help clam the body and the nervous system.
Props needed: 1 block and 1 bolster or rolled up towel/blanket for the Yin pose but not essential.
